BMT Confernce in Innsbruck, Austria

Eight members of the CRC visited the Joint Annual Conference of the Austrian, German and Swiss Societies for Biomedical Engineering including the "14th Vienna International Workshop on Functional Electrical Stimulation" that was held at Congress Innsbruck in Innsbruck (Austria) from 28.09.2022 to 30.09.2022. About 500 particants joined this very interesting confernce and four of us prested talks or posters.

Johan from project B1 gave a talk on a new way of magnetic excitation in order to perform a frequency conversion for our cantilever-based ME sensors, Christin from project B2 showed the lastest results on magnetic localization of ultrasound devices, and Johannes talked about his new pipeline for movement analysis bases on magnetic sources and sensors (project B9). In addition to these three talks, Erik from project B10 presented a poster on evaluation of ME sensor systems and corresponding quality classes for cardiologic applications.

Furthermore, we faced very interessting talk and poster sessions (always eight talk session in parallel) and joined state-of-the-art keynote talks. Beside such talk sessions and keynotes we had the chance to exchange minds with other conference participants and we meet very interesting people. Some of them were invited by us for a visit in Kiel. The organizer of the conference, Prof. Daniel Baumgarten, for example, will be in November in Kiel and give a talk on magnetic particle imaging. More information (also about other guests) will follow soon.
